Our events are Open Mics, run in a blackboard style, where performers either elect on the night, or book beforehand, to play for approximately 15 minutes. Guest from further afield are encouraged and we are happy to negotiate longer sets for travellers. Audiences of course are encouraged – musos love an audience! We provide great quality sound for our artists, and encourage all styles of music, but folk, blues and country are very popular amongst our group. Along with the music, good quality meals and drinks are available. There is no door charge.
We started off in 2011 with a monthly Open Mic session, then moved to every second week and by 2016 we were meeting more than five times a month. As of late 2018 we are meeting two times most months. In the future we may meet more or less. It depends to a large degree on our venues. Do contact us to receive our emails if you are keen to stay up to date.
We presently run an Open Mic session at: Eudlo Hall Rosebed St, Eudlo from 1 - 4pm on the 1st Sunday of the month, and the Beerwah Hotel from 7 - 10pm every Tuesday night. But, as we now run the Eudlo Music Nights in April and October, we do miss a few Sundays at Eudlo Hall (eg December, January, April, June, July, August, October at this point in 2018). The simplest way to know when we are on is to be on our email list and you will receive a reminder a week before the event. Or check out the Musos Facebook group which is updated regularly.
The Musos website was actively maintained for the first 4 years we ran (until late 2014), and since then we have put that effort into the Facebook group and regular emailout. The present site is a fascinating read (at least for us) as it has so much “historical” detail. As such we’d like to leave it up rather than archive it and encourage you to flick through it. We won’t be maintaining this site but do check out our Facebook group and the other activity which takes so much of our time - the Eudlo Music Nights.

We have had about 400 different acts at our sessions in our 5 year history (up until late 2016) including special guests Toni Childs, Jon Brooks, Jodi Martin, The Mae Trio, Del Barber, Rebecca Wright, Jen Mize, Rough Red and Matt Glass amongst others.
